The rapid evolution of distributed computing has transformed the design and deployment of enterprise software
applications. Modern enterprise systems increasingly adopt service-oriented and microservice-based
architectures in which independent services collaborate to deliver complex business functionalities across
heterogeneous computing environments. As the number of distributed services continues to grow, efficient service
discovery and reliable inter-service communication become essential for ensuring scalability, availability, fault
tolerance, and maintainability. Traditional static service configuration approaches are often inadequate for
dynamic cloud environments where services are continuously deployed, updated, and scaled. This paper presents
a service discovery and communication framework for distributed enterprise applications that integrates dynamic
service registration, service lookup, load balancing, communication management, and fault recovery within a
unified architecture. The proposed framework enables applications to locate available services automatically
while supporting secure and efficient communication among distributed components. The architecture also
incorporates service health monitoring, distributed configuration management, and failover mechanisms to
improve system reliability and operational continuity. The proposed framework enhances application scalability,
simplifies service management, and supports resilient communication in cloud-based enterprise environments.
